So You Want To Build A Web Site

On Wednesday, April 9th, six NYWCA members will have the opportunity to meet to discuss their goals and strategy for creating a Web site for their business:

Ed Hoffman, founder and president of The Varick Group (http://thevarickgroup.com), which specializes in brand marketing for food and other clients, will lead the discussion and answer your questions.

In this informal program, Ed will walk you through the goals and strategy involved in deciding what kind of web site will benefit your business and will answer your questions related to developing a site. Should you build it yourself—or hire a developer? What should your web site communicate about your business? How do you figure out what content to put on your web site—and how do you effectively reach your target audience?

Members wishing to participate should email Laura Weiss (laurasbweiss@gmail.com) no later than Monday, March 31. This is a “For Credit: event.

Cancellations are required no fewer than 4 days before the event in order to allow for another member to fill the space and to guarantee reimbursement. If the program is cancelled by the NYWCA, your full fee will be reimbursed.

Wine and cheese will be served.

Please mail checks made out the NYWCA to Laura Weiss, 771 West End Ave., Apt. 2B, New York, NY.
