April Dine-Around At Ippudo

On Wednesday, April 23rd, join fellow alliance members for a special dinner at the new restaurant everyone is raving about - Ippudo NY - the first overseas venture for Ippudo, the acclaimed Japanese ramen emporium.

Ippudo was founded in 1985 by Ramen King, Shigemi Kawahara in Hakata, Japan. The original restaurant consisted of a small counter with seating for ten people. Today, Ippudo encompasses 34 restaurants throughout Japan. Ippudo is known for revolutionizing the ramen industry in Japan with its tonkotsu (pork based broth) made from pork bones cooked for over 15 hours.

Adventurous alliance members will feast on one of three family-style appetizers, enjoy one of two trademark Ramen noodle dishes as their entrée, and indulge in one of two Asian-style desserts, while learning about the background and cuisine of this historic restaurant.
