May Dine-Around At Knife + Fork

Please join us on Tuesday, May 12th at Knife + Fork (www.knife-fork-nyc.com), Chef/Owner Damien Brassel's intimate East Village restaurant and wine bar for inventive and modern European fare.

Brassel will be offering a 3-course tasting menu with a glass of wine/cocktail, for $45/pp, including tax and gratuity.

Tentative menu includes:

citrus cured salmon with fennel, salmon roe
pickled cucumber, pink grapefruit and wasabi creme fraiche
tea smoked chicken risotto with apple salad and truffle mascarpone
organic loin of lamb with chive mash, goat cheese with sun dried tomato
butter leeks, confit garlic, black olive jus and saffron aoli
rosemary and blood orange creme brulee


Restaurant description: In May 2006, Knife + Fork opened as an intimate East Village restaurant and wine bar, and the first solo venture of Chef/Owner Damien Brassel. Known for being in the kitchen and cooking all of the dishes served on his constantly changing menu, Damien offers an inventive, modern European cuisine. Damien spends a great deal of time seeking out ingredients and finding the perfect blend of flavors. This combined with his use of various methods of cooking including poaching, slow cooking and smoking of meats has developed into his interesting, yet approachable menu.
